Stuart Terrill Stotts
Author, Storyteller and Songwriter

Stuart Terrill Stotts is a songwriter, storyteller and author from Madison, Wisconsin. Stuart designs and presents professional development seminars for educators for The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC., and he is a frequent keynote and workshop presenter at conferences, workshops and trainings around the world, focusing on literacy, music, and connections to child development.

He has worked as a full-time performer since 1986, and gives over 200 shows a year for kids, families and adults around the United States, and sometimes farther. He has also worked extensively as an artist-in-residence with students of all ages. Stuart has released several award-winning recordings, and he is the author of five books, including We Shall Overcome: A Song That Changed the World which was named an American Library Association Honors Book for 2011.
